My Dejavu Crafts Roosters!

I Saw this CUTE project on Dejavu Crafts so i asked her if i could make one of my own! She has the Cutest ideas on her blog i love to see what she comes up with next!:) Thanks Amanda for letting me make these roosters for my kitchen:) Check out her blog here.

I got my frame at a yard sale (:)) it was already painted like this SWEET! It was only a dollar$ I had some left over bead board that i cut to fit the frame. My husband gave me a book for my birthday that had these rooster pattens in it, so i copied and cut them out. (I'm getting pretty good with my scroll saw! until the blade breaks and scares the crap out of me lol!) i used a tope glaze for the antique look and then just spray painted my roosters with some left over black spray paint i got at the dollar store for a dollar! I used wood glue to attach my roosters. This project took me about 30 min start to finish:) Great nap time craft!

You did a great job on the roosters. The frame is fab. I love roosters. Have several (well... maybe more than several) in my kitchen and laundry room.

Thanks for the idea and I will check out Dejavu Crafts blog. Thanks for the heads up.
