I know I'm kinda jumping the gun by making Valentine crafts already but Valentines Day is so fun and girlie:) My hubby proposed to me on Valentines day so it holds a special place in my heart:) (So Sappy Huh?:)) I had cut these hearts out not knowing what i would do with them but i was inspired by Brooke's Valentine Block and Stacie's Blocks (see below) I just merged them together to make this!
How I made it: I had a random 2x4 so i took it and drilled 3 holes on the top and drilled holes in the bottom of 3 hearts. I then mod podged each heart, sanded the edges and distressed the edges with my distressing ink pad. (luuuv those things!) I used my cricut for the letters. ( i found the sweetest lady in town who was sweet enough to sell me a yard of vinyl for 3$ and she said i can come back!) I used black wire my husband has and wrapped it around a pencil to make it curly then stuck it the holes of the 2x4 and hearts. I have a big bag of random buttons (you can buy them at wal-mart for under 4$ i believe) i used to embellish and that's it! Really easy and i love the way it came out! This would be so cute in a girls room!

SOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!
It's NEVER too early for Valentines... In fact Josh and I are starting our decorating tomorrow! I love the colors... I love the heart shape and even though I am going through a divorce... I still believe in LOVE! When Josh's dad passed away he inherited all of his tools... I may have to go out and see what thing I can find... I'm betting he has a drill... I'm so loving this one!
