Rooster...

Before my Grandma passed away she let me choose any Rooster or Chicken I wanted. She collected them like i do. I picked this Rooster. It had been in her kitchen for as long as I could remember so i loved that she let me have it:) I will Treasure it for ever:)

Mine

I got my frame at a yard sale (:)) it was already painted like this SWEET! It was only a dollar$ I had some left over bead board that i cut to fit the frame. My husband gave me a book for my birthday that had these rooster pattens in it, so i copied and cut them out. (I'm getting pretty good with my scroll saw! until the blade breaks and scares the crap out of me lol!) i used a tope glaze for the antique look and then just spray painted my roosters with some left over black spray paint i got at the dollar store for a dollar! I used wood glue to attach my roosters. This project took me about 30 min start to finish:) Great nap time craft!
