EAT

I have really been putting my thousands (literally) of pins to work!  I saw this idea and HAD to make them:)  They are perfect for this space in my dinning room.

Trick or Treat {Chalk Board}

When I made this chalk board I told you all that I just used regular ol craft paint rather then chalk board paint.  I told you I would update you on weather or not it worked:)  IT WORKS BETTER THEN CHALK BOARD PAINT!  So no need to buy chalk board paint:)  No steps to take either just slap it on and you've got a chalk Board:)

Stand In Holy Places {Temple Blocks}

These are so CUTE right???  I love the way they came out!  My sweet sister in law and I made these.  She saw these {where else but pinterest!} so we combined efforts and I drew them up cut them out and then she used her Sure Cuts Allot and cut out the letters. They are just the cutest!  I love the Chevron pattern on them.  SUPER cute:)

Saw it, Pinned it, Made It! {Chevron Frame}

 I saw this CUTE frame on Pinterest awhile ago and finally got to make me one!  I love to craft with friends so my cousin came and we made these.  They turned out really cute!  I love Chevron and now that I have wrapped my head around how to do it I think everything is going to be made over Chevron style!:)

Cupboard Door Sofa Table

I have always wanted a Sofa Table/Entry Table.   I have seen so many on Pinterest so I FINALLY decided I was going to make myself one.  Several Years ago I went to HANDS DOWN the best yard sale EVER!  It was a yard sale inside an old cabinet shop....!  I walked out with a truck load of wood and I only spent 11$ I think it was....anyway it was awesome!  I bought this long cabinet door along with all the wood.  It wasn't 3$ like it says but even if it was I wouldn't have cared its solid Oak.  This Table is made from all things FREE that I had in my shop.  So, its kinda funny I know but here is a list of what I used.,..
A cupboard door.  Twin headboard legs that I cut down to size.

{this pix is upside down,,,oops:)} an old 2x2 and 2 fence slats that make up the box under the table,   HEY I know its funny but guess what?  I have a Sofa Table now and it was FREE people!!:)

All sanded, primed and ready for paint.  I used Heirloom White spray paint. {my favorite white color} I also got it for FREE!  I had some red spray paint I had bought awhile ago and never used it so my dad took it back to home depot and traded it for White:)  I cut my pieces and then loaded it all up and took it to my dads house where he helped me make the box under the table and nailed it all together with his nail gun,  I couldn't have done this with out my dads help.  I LOVE this table!  OH! I used a Q-Tip  dipped in stain and a rag to age this Table.  I loved this method and will use it again for sure.

AFTER, AFTER

Not long ago I posted about my FREE Temple picture.  Its so pretty and I really love it, the only down side is it just kinda got lost on my wall.  I wanted it to stand out so I made a few changes....

This is an old frame that came from things no one wanted when my grandma passed away.  It's cool it think!  The oxen and covered wagons have foam behind them that makes the picture look 3D.  I always thought it was neat when I was a kid!:)  ANYWAY, I took the picture out of the frame and painted the frame with a black spray paint....
 After I had painted my frame I cut out a piece of BEAD BOARD to fit inside.  I painted the bead boad Ivory by KRYLON.... ( I had it left over from another project) I dont usually like krylon paint but my husband picked it up for me and lets face it, I was to lazy to go get it myself so I made it work lol:)  I had forgotten how much I disliked it until I started using it on a previous project.  The reason I dont like it is I feel like it doesnt cover as well as Rust- Oleum.  But, thats just my opinion.
After I had let my frame and bead board dry I put the pieces all together.  I used wood glue to attach my Temple picture to the bead board and then let that dry really well.

 Im much happier with it now!

my mAsSiVe ShELf...Cost 0 $$$

The other day while PINNING I came across THIS beautiful shelf.  I have been wanting a shelf to fill the empty space on my dinning room wall for sometime now.  When I saw this I decided to stop waiting for it to happen and make it happen!:)  I didn't use her measurements I basically just looked at the picture and did the best I could with what was out in our shop.  I was so proud of myself!  My dad has a nail gun so I took my pieces down to his house and he helped me nail it together but other then that I made this allllll byyyyy myyyy selfffff!!!:)

I {LOVE} it!!  Now, go and make you one!  If I can do it, then you can too!
