Shamrock book banner

I love holidays, but I absolutely love the easy no pressure ones:). You know Halloween, Easter, Valentines day...St Patricks day:)

For this easy book page banner I simply went to my library and bought an old big book for 10 cents.  I took out 5 pages and made my cuts.  I then added some shamrocks I bought at the dollar tree.  I added them to a twine thin rope with my glue gun.  Super easy and a big impact!  For $1.10 I got a really fun and cute banner!:).

Shamrock Garland

I LOVE St. Patty's Day!  Its sadly one of the neglected holidays in my opinion so I try to make a few more crafts each year for it:)  I wanted to make a fun garland for my little shelf so while I was at the Dollar Tree I saw the cutest Shamrocks {I bought one pkg that had 6 light green and 6 glitter $1} and knew they would be perfect.   CHEAP and EASY that's pretty much all I can do these days with a little 4 month old attached to me:)

I know that i recently featured Lyndsey @ Inspiring Creations....but she lots of really cute ideas for St Patrick's day:) Lets face it St Patrick's and Thanksgiving get the shaft when it comes to Holidays. Subway Art!

Hey ladies:) I am so happy to say that i now have a NEW Printer!! Sheesh its been along time sense i could print anything. I think about a year...i know. yikes! But its all good now:) So, like most of you; i have been eyeing all the CuTe Subway art over at Eighteen 25 (LOVE THEIR BLOG!) for what seems like 4 EVER and i finally got to print one up! Luck Letters

These Letters aren't anything new but i loved making them:) It has been cruddy weather outside this weekend so i took advantage and painted:) I have to say that i am so ready for SPRING! I am so sick of being cold and so sick of mud and snow. UGH! I am thankful for all the moisture but i would love to be able to go outside and enjoy the sunshine:) My family likes to camp a lot during the summer so it will be nice to have camp fires. That's one good thing about all the snow...see I'm trying to find good in it all! hehe:)

Easter Egg Tree and a Bit Of Luck...

I love Dollar Tree! I went in today to pick up a few essentials and got side tracked when i saw all the Eater Stuff!! I saw all these trees and then i saw the cute little Styrofoam eggs to hang on the trees! i couldn't pass up a cute little tree for a dollar! I swiped a tree 2 packs of eggs and a pack of big eggs with wooden stix, This is what i did....

I added some Spanish moss to cover up the ugly kitty litter looking stuff in the pot..

Then i hot glued these little eggs all over the tree so they wouldn't slide around. Then i added a big egg to the top! EASY! (the wooden stix comes out easy if you just give it a turn)

AND HERE IT IS!

So stinken cute right?! I gave this to my mom and have more stuff waiting for me to make mine:) I think its way to early for Easter so ill wait to make mine. This way I'm not tempted to put it out!:) I had to buy all i needed cause stuff goes fast!

Now its on to St. Patricks Day Stuff!

I got the cute little Shamrock at Jo-ann Fabrics for 50% off! I also got a Heart for Valentines day. I cant wait to put it out next year:)

Okay this post is kinda all over the place but just bare with me lol:)

I have wanted an apothecary jar 4 E-V-E-R! I finally found the perfect candle stick and jar at GoodWill. I loved how chunky it was...

The Color? Not so much. I spray painted it black. I also got this wire garland today at Dollar Tree.

I thought it would look cute in the jar and tried to find some shamrocks to go in the jar with this garland. well they didn't have any:( so i came home and got looking around the house and came across the little pots i made for valentines day with the hearts in them. I took the hearts out of the pots...

took out the wood sticks and hot glued them together...

Painted them green and added some white glitter! Brilliant right?! :) They turned out way cuter then i thought:) I love when that happens!

I added the garland to my jar....

then added the caaute shamrocks.

I'm loooohaaaving it!
